Thanks for checking out my free week 16 NFL predictions for the 2009 football season. I have been doing these office pool picks all season and have a 143 and 68 record on NFL game predictions. I don’t do office point spread predictions so these free week 16 football game picks are suitable for the office football pool.
San Diego at Tennessee
Two hot teams battle it out when the Titans host the Chargers. San Diego is hard to beat in December but I think the Titans knock them off 24 to 21.
Buffalo at Atlanta
The Bills are just a bad team playing out the string. The Falcons are a slightly better than average team that should win in week 16 by the score of 28 to 14.
Kansas City at Cincinnati
The Chiefs suck but have shown some offense of late. The Bengals try once again to clinch their divisions despite the distraction of having a teammate die. Bengals win 28 to 24.
Oakland at Cleveland
Two bad teams who can pull an upset from time to time. My free week 16 NFL predictions is Browns 17 and the Raiders 7.
Seattle at Green Bay
It will be interesting to see if the Packers can bounce back from a last second loss to the Steelers. I think they will and beat the Seahawks 28 to 14.
Baltimore at Pittsburgh
The Ravens and Steelers flat do not like each other and have had some nasty games in the past. This game should be no exception and my free week 16 NFL game pick is the Steelers beat the Ravens, 21 to 17.
Houston at Miami
The Texans bring their high flying passing attack to battle the Wildcat of the Dolphins. Miami wins 21 to 14.
Jacksonville at New England
I won’t pick against Brady and company at home in December. My free week 16 NFL predictions is the Patriots win 31 to 28.
Tampa Bay at New Orleans
The Saints are no longer undefeated and that may actually take some pressure off them and make them a better team. Tampa does not have the players to make it close. Saints win 35 to 17.
Carolina at the Giants
Carolina shocked the NFL when they upset the Vikings but don’t put too much into that. Favre is feuding with the coaching staff and I think the Vikings will implode. The Giants will handle the Panthers easily and win 28 to 14.
Detroit at San Francisco
The Lions have shown some improvement over 2008 but then again they would almost have to. The 49ers will have no trouble beating the Lions though, San Francisco 28 Detroit 17.
St. Louis at Arizona
I really want to pick the Rams to upset the Cardinals but can’t make myself do it. Arizona wins 21 to 17.
New York Jets at Indianapolis Colts
Peyton Manning and the Colts are the only undefeated team remaining in the 2009 NFL season. The Jets play decently at times but need more from the quarterback position. Colts win 28 to 17.
Denver at Philadelphia
The Eagles are hot right now and the Broncos are coming off a loss to the Raiders of all teams. The trend continues as the Eagles will beat the Broncos in week 16 by the score of 28 to 21.
Dallas at Washington
The Redskins almost knocked off the Saints but lost because of kicker Shaun Suisham whom they then cut. The Cowboys DID knock off the Saints but cut Nick Folk and picked up Suisham. The Cowboys NEED to win this one and the Skins are just waiting for Mike Shanahan to take over. My week 16 NFL game prediction is the Cowboys win 24 to 13.
Minnesota at Chicago
The real Brett Favre has shown up by his refusing to be benched a couple of times. I think the Vikings are prime for another upset. Chicago wins 17 to 14.
