A look at the potential lockout
March 5th 2011 15:07
There is the thought of it happening. Right now, the deadline continues to get extended consistently and it could be interesting to see if it will indeed happen. The thought process would be the sense of optimism due to the fact of how much money would be lost. Will there be a season? It is possible but it’s also possible that it may not due to the fact the fight is going to be about money. Unless it gets resolved rather soon, any thoughts for the season could be lost.
As for myself, I do not know for sure. It wouldn’t hurt my feelings so much because of the fact it would prevent seeing the Browns look like a bunch of losers for sometime, which they always do. If the season is in tact, then perhaps in the summer if I have time I’ll analyze and look at each division probably like last time and do an AFC and NFC post.
Click for some thoughts. I'm aware of the extensions and realize what they are trying to do. For now, it's just wait and see what happens. All that is known is that there will be no free agency period and the only thing that can happen would be drafting. I'll admit to not being sure if they can trade positions if need be but only time will tell.
