Week 14 Fantasy Football Advice

December 2nd 2008 18:27
Thanks for reading Week 14 Fantasy Football Advice for the 2008 NFL season on Associatedcontent.com. My name is Randy Inman and I have been playing Fantasy Football for over 20 years. I am also a freelance writer who covers pro football for the Claremont Courier and several websites. This article covers Quarterbacks, Running Backs and Wide Receivers.

I will try to give you some sound Fantasy Football Lineup advice for week 14. This article will cover some players who may not start every week. We all have our Fantasy Football Franchise players we start no matter what. These guys are ones on the bubble who may not play every week but should in week 14. If you have a specific question about a player just post it in the comment section at the bottom of this article. I will get back to you shortly.

Quarterbacks

JaMarcus Russell is worthy of consideration in week 14’s lineup if you have major matchup problems. The Chargers are playing out the string to end the season and their pass defense is terrible. Russell could throw for 250 yards and two scores.

Kyle Orton will probably have a good game against Jacksonville as the Bears try to get back into position to make a run at the NFC North.

Gus Ferotte could well light up a terrible Detroit Lion team for the Minnesota Vikings this week.

Running Backs

Chester Taylor will deserve a look especially if Adrian Peterson has his carries limited in a blowout of the Lions. Peterson was limping a bit in the Bears game and may merit more rest this week.

Larry Johnson is trying hard to prove he can still play in the NFL and the Denver defense ranks 28th in the NFL at stopping the run. Johnson has gotten the bulk of the carries the last two weeks. And remember the Chiefs beat the Broncos earlier this season.

Tim Hightower of the Cardinals will be facing a bad Rams team and could rush for 110 yards and 3 scores against them. His yards per rushing attempt suck but he scores touchdowns, 9 in 2008 so far.

Wide Receivers

Start anyone for Denver against the terrible Chiefs pass defense. Maybe even a waterboy or two will catch passes for the Broncos.

Hines Ward may not be a top Fantasy Football Wide Receiver but he deserves a look against Dallas this week.

Bernard Berrian is off a big game with a 99 yard touchdown reception against the Bears. Look for him to put up 9 catches for around 140 and two scores against the Lions this week.

Thanks for reading my Fantasy Football Tips for week 14 of the 2008 NFL season.
