Thoughts on the Browns and a prediction
April 28th 2010 20:54
I just recently wrote up a piece about the Browns so I'll post a link soon enough. Mainly, I wanted to take a look at the Browns selections and just say that it's too soon to really grade it. On paper, it could look average. Selecting Colt McCoy was perhaps the biggest pick they made in my opinion. They do need a franchise Quarterback and perhaps he could do what Brady Quinn couldn't do, Tim Couch couldn't do, Charlie Frye couldn't do, and every other one that failed.
The schedule is tougher this year. The question will be how many wins can they get this year? There's always a few winnable games. Do I think they're going to contend for the Super Bowl this year? I wish I could say yes but I highly doubt it let alone a playoff spot. I expect them to improve and that would mean more wins. As far as how many, hard to say for sure.
Some Predictions for the Cleveland Browns
The projection should be if Mangini is fired, Holmgren will probably coach at least the rest of the season. Personally, I do not wish for Holmgren to try wearing too many hats. It didn't work before and I don't see it working now.
