Miles Austin blows up the Chiefs

Miles Austin had a pretty decent first start as a Dallas Cowboys wide receiver, yesterday. If you call 10 receptions for 250 yards and two touchdowns against the Chiefs, decent. Miles Austin had a career game and probably took the number one receiver spot on the team. But do keep in mind they were playing the Chiefs and career games do happen to bad players, ask a certain running back named Smith who had a great Super Bowl once for the Redskins.
But I do think Austin is the real deal and a quality NFL wide receiver. Mostly used as a returner in the past, Miles Austin showed he has athletic ability. He retuned a kickoff for a touchdown in a playoff game once.
But now Miles Austin will get to show he can play wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys. He averages over 20 yards per catch for his career so he is a deep threat, and the Cowboys desperately need a play maker to replace Terrell Owens.
I still want to see Austin start in more games and against better teams, but I think he has the goods. I was torn in that game as I am a Chiefs fan who grew up pulling for the Cowboys. I still like Dallas but like the Chiefs more. Still I enjoyed seeing Miles Austin in his breakout performance
