Andre “Bad Moon” Rison got in trouble for a little drunk and disorderly conduct recently. The former NFL Wide Receiver has had a interesting life including getting his house burned down by a girlfriend Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes from “TLC” and wearing out his welcome with various teams in his career.
I really loved Andre Rison as a player, in part because in his Atlanta days he helped me win a Fantasy Football Championship. I loved that Red Gun “Run and Shoot” offense that they used those days. He just seemed to me like one of the most talented players of all time, when he wanted to be.
Andre “Bad Moon” Rison put up close to NFL Hall of Fame stats. He caught 743 passes for 10,205 yards and 84 Touchdowns in his career. He also added 3 TDs in the playoffs and won a Super Bowl Ring with the Packers. Of course Rison’s off the field trouble will probably tarnish any chance he has of getting into the Hall of Fame. And that is a shame he was such a great player.
