Bengals Darryl Blackstock interview
August 31st 2009 00:35
I spent part of my day listening to Blogtalkradio’s BengalsWorldNews today and their interview with Bengal’s linebacker/end Darryl Blackstock. I have already written about this great (and free) Bengals radio show and you can see that here. The folks from the best Bengals forums out there, BengalsWorld.com bring you the radio show.
Cincinnati Bengals Darryl Blackstock surprised us a bit when asked about the best teammate he has had. His answer was Arizona Cardinals Wide Receiver Anquan Boldin. Blackstock said “Boldin works hard and does not curse or drink.”
Blackstock also said “All 9 linebackers from the Cincinnati Bengals squad deserved to make the team.” He went on to add about his own versatility in playing linebacker or end. “I am happy to be on the field playing football, no matter what position.”
The HBO series “Hard Knocks” has brought the Cincinnati Bengals some nationwide attention. When asked about the portrayal of Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer’s intensity, Blackstock responded. “Hard Knocks does not do Zimmer justice, and that he is MORE intense than people think.”
In the BengalsWorldNews chatroom we all agreed that Blackstock should make the Bengals roster. That is a big plus for their radio show; you can chat with other listeners and even the radio show hosts. If you are a Bengals fan or just a football fan like me, give this internet radio show a try.
