In a not so shocking development Brett Favre has joined the Minnesota Vikings. Having got his fill of drama coverage (I think he was jealous of LeBron James) Brett is back to being a quarterback in the National Football League.
Favre has gotten the word out this his ankle injury isn’t quite healed thus giving him a predetermined excuse for any bad play. Brett Favre also got his wish in missing training camp while his Viking teammates toiled in the hot sun.
Now that I am done (for now) bashing Brett Favre, it is good to see him back with the Vikings. We rarely get to see a person as tough as Brett Favre play and we should covet every moment of it. One reason that I am glad that Brett Favre is playing is that he is about a week older than me. As long as older men than I are playing in the NFL then I am still young right, right?
