Browns Judgment begins now

The first preseason game doesn't give an indication of what is going to happen in the regular season. You can be really bad during that time and be good during the regular season. As the resident Browns writer, I must admit that improvement is going to be needed and it will take time. Do not expect them to be a serious contender in the AFC North.
When it comes to Quarterbacks, this team needs stability right there. Does it matter who the starter is? No, because wins are going to be what really matters most. Quinn may be the starter and that's fine. He can start the games provided he is going to give them the best chance of winning. If you can get that, it won't matter who is the man taking charge.
While we are it, let's figure out everything from top to bottom. I will put much stock into preseason records but I will say this, if they struggle and come out of the gate really slow, I'm going to hate to see how attendance is going to look. You know how the Browns have some of the most loyal fans, even that can be tested and that's not something you want to do.
The first game could use some improvement and most importantly, get some touchdowns. Don't get shut out every game and play better and it will get those to watch and believe in the team.
I hope for the best on the Browns but I'm not expecting a quick miracle turnaround. That's just me though.
