Brett Favre is getting on my nerves, he retires because the Packers didn’t kiss is butt enough. Then wants to come out of retirement and play for a division rival of the team that gave him a Hall of Fame Career.
Now it looks like Green Bay will deal him just to stop their training camp from being ruined by a media frenzy. They should tell him to report to camp and bench his ass and ride out the storm.
If they DO deal Favre to the Vikings, I would not take less than a number one draft pick, maybe even more. Favre is ruining what was a great reputation in the NFL. He overcame an addiction to pain killers to remain a media darling.
I will never knock Favre’s toughness or his ability but he is turning into a crybaby in his old age. But I still want to see him play somewhere because he is an icon and when he is gone he is gone.
Green Bay should try to deal him but to Minnesota only as a last resort. Because they are in the same division, they would have to play him twice. Plus he would help their rival become much better. If Brett Favre has one more good season in him, the Vikes are in the Super Bowl with him at quarterback.
