Denver gets the Gold Mine, San Diego gets the shaft

The chargers got the shaft yesterday against the Broncos. Two blown calls on fumbles one at the end of the game setting up Denver’s last second win. Seasoned official Ed Hochuli was looking right at the last one and appeared only to call it an incomplete pass when San Diego picked it up.
I know the officials are only human and make surprisingly few mistakes in NFL games. But in this case I would almost ask if there was some sort of payoff or a grudge by Hochuli against the San Diego Chargers. It was a blatant screwing and Chargers coach Norv Turner called it “ Unacceptable”
The Chargers have now lost two last second games in two weeks and are of course 0-2 this season. Adding to their troubles of Merriman being out for the season and Tomlinson battling injuries.
