For the Cleveland Browns, they need to start showing signs of improvment

As the resident Browns writer, it is my duty to comment on this team. Since this team has been place since 1999, only two winning seasons have been in place and that is not good enough. As a matter of fact, it is pathetic. You would think that there would be some major signals that this team was going to start being more competitive after the first few years.
Do not expect the Browns to win the division at all. As a matter of fact, expect them to be competing with the Bengals in an effort to avoid being a cellar-dweller. That is what has been going on over the years with this franchise. It is a far cry from the glory days of the original Cleveland Browns. By that I mean from the early days of the franchise in the NFL.
With Eric Mangini, they have no choice but to go forward in a positive direction. There is a fan base that I will never understand will keep going to Browns games no matter what the circumstances are. It just amazes me and it means there is a lot of patience but I do believe even that can run out.
I feel that if improvement is not shown soon enough, the unthinkable could happen. That could mean seeing Cleveland Browns stadium nearly empty. I wrote about it actually and am going to share it right here.
Why the Browns Need to Improve Now
There is no tomorrow. If they are going to start improving, now is the time to do it. Time is of the essence.
