Footballdogz.com is proud to announce our second High School Football Player Spotlight. Landon Freeman is a 6ft 5 inch 185 pound wide receiver, punter and linebacker for Wilkes Central High School in North Carolina. Oh yeah he also puts in time as a long snapper occasionally. On his weight, the info I got from the source is 185 pounds. His Rivals.com profile says 190 pounds.
Landon Freeman has a 37 inch vertical leap, benches 225 and squats 375 pounds and power clean 245 and runs the 40 yard dash in 4.5 seconds, according to my information. According to Rivals his college choices are Virginia Tech and Wolford.

The person who submitted him for our Spotlight has this. 9 receptions for 185 yards and 4 touchdowns and averaging 37.5 yards a punt. Maxpreps.com has Landon Freeman’s stats as the following. 7 receptions, 141 yards, 20.14 average yards per catch and 3 touchdowns. Either way that is pretty darn good for a high school wide receiver that has attempted only 28 passes all season (according to Maxpreps) Pretty much if they throw the ball, they throw it to Freeman and he makes the most of his catches.
Butch Davis, I know you would like a 6ft 5 wide reciever who is tough enough to play linebacker. That would be a nice target going across the middle.
