Footballdogz.com 2008 free agency report- Linemen
July 3rd 2008 00:13
Footballdogz.com’ review of major 2008 NFL free agent signings continues now with the offensive/defensive linemen listings. All my information comes from NFL.com and I will discuss the major 2008 NFL free agency signings.
Flozell Adams has resigned with the Dallas Cowboys, now usually I don’t mention when a player stays put. But he has been such a force for so long, it is good to see him stay with Dallas.
Milford Brown a 6 ft 5 330 pound guard has left the Rams to go to the Carolina Panthers. God knows the Panthers need all the O line help they can get.
Jeff Faine former starting center for the Saints has joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Alan Faneca best known for kicking butt on Madden 08, has left the Steelers and joined the New York Jets.
Steve McKinney a 10 year veteran center has joined the Miami Dolphins after a stay with the Texans.
Jeremy Newberry has left the Raiders to become a San Diego Charger, a step up on the food chain in my book.
Damien Woody has left the Detroit Lions and joined the New York Jets who seem to be very active this offseason.
Now for the Defensive Linemen
Tyler Brayton has left the Oakland Raiders to try to shore up a very bad defensive line on the Carolina Panthers squad.
Chuck Darby a defensive tackle formerly with the Seattle Seahawks has joined the Detroit Lions.
William Joseph a defensive tackle on the Super Bowl winning New York Giants is now going to be on a crappy Raiders team.
Dan Klecko most famous for his dad being Joe Klecko takes his short but wide (5ft 11-275 pound) body from the Colts to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Jared Allen was franchised by the Chiefs then traded to the Minnesota Vikings. He will get lots of sacks of quarterbacks, and even more sacks of beer while there.
Jevon Kearse is going home again, after some injury plagued seasons with the Eagles, he is returning to the Tennessee Titans.
Greg Spires who had some decent years in Tampa Bay will now join the Oakland Raiders,
