Robin PottratzMurder-suicide in McNair case

Evidence has pointed to a murder-suicide for days and such is the police ruling in the case of slain ex-NFL quarterback Steve McNair.
McNair's girlfriend, Sahel Kazemi, who who was found at McNair's feet. turned the same semiautomatic handgun on herself that she used to fire four bullets into the sleeping Tennessee Titan hero.
Reports are still hazy but it appears that Kazemi was in a downward spiral and her actions were a culmination of desperation, confusion, and rage.
She was arrested July 2 on DUI charges, nagged by money problems and worried that McNair was involved in a second affair. Despite her relationship concerns, Kazemi painted a happy picture, telling relatives that McNair planned to divorce his wife. As of yet, no documents have surfaced to support this claim.
It is believed sometime either late Friday or early Saturday McNair was asleep on the sofa his condominium when the 20-year-old shot him in the left side of his head. She fired twice more into his chest, then put the gun close to his right temple for the last shot.
After that, she sat down next to the dead body and put a bullet into her own right temple. Tests of crime-scene evidence show all five of the bullets match the gun owned by Kazemi . Further she, had gunshot residue on her hand.
Although, the case is not yet closed, police are confident of the scenario they have presented and are quite sure it was Kazemi who killed McNair. Toxicology reports are still incomplete and may shed some light on this gruesome story.
