NFL teams with new coaches are screwed by lockout
July 5th 2011 15:08
Teams with new coaches are going to be hurting when the NFL lockout ends. Teams such as the Titans, Panthers, Raiders, Broncos, Browns, and 49ers will be trying to install new systems in a short bit of time.
The Titans, Panthers and Vikings will also be breaking in new quarterbacks as will possibly the 49ers. The Carolina Panthers and Minnesota Vikings will possibly be starting rookie quarterbacks who will have had little offseason training if the NFL lockout continues much longer.
These NFL teams with new coaches are screwed for at least the first part of the 2011 NFL season. In a normal NFL season they would have an extra week of training camp but that won’t happen with the NFL lockout this year.
The Carolina Panthers for one sound determined to get Cam Newton on the field as soon as possible, throwing him to the wolves. For Newton’s sake I hope they keep Matt Moore or sign a veteran to start a few games until Cam is ready.
