Overview of the Browns
January 3rd 2010 23:13
As the Browns writer, I must admit I had been very critical of the team but must admit I didn't see them going out with a bang. They won the last four games of the season. They finished 5-11 and it was better than last year. Not much mind you, but still a little bit better. There still is work to be done to fix this team.
I just published some thoughts on it so you can just click here. This is my first AC article in a while but it involves this thought. I still am conflicted but can see both sides. At the end of the day, who really is out there that will coach? I don't see Gruden coming out and Cowher won't come to Cleveland. I don't think there's really too many candidates I could see coming to Cleveland and personally would not want to go the coordinator route again since it has proven not to work there.
While looking at the Browns, I think that winning the last four was good for them. I think it's good and I had a separate thought about this. Just click here for it. So they fell down in the draft, is it that big of a deal? I'd rather see them win games than lose to get high drafts. Never been that high on the play for a high draft pick game. I prefer winning but that's just me. It's like you like to get beat up on a regular basis.
Good finish for the season but still needs to improve. I hope they learned Jamal Lewis shouldn't be starting anymore. He is done but that's another matter.
