NFL predictions
November 2nd 2008 12:11
Ok folks it is time once again for the worst NFL game predictions on the Internet! But I mean well. These are straight game picks no point spread involved. If you are betting on NFL games then I would go with who I pick to lose, and you will probably win your bet. These are week 9 predictions for the 2008 NFL season.
New York Jets at Buffalo. The Jets struggled to beat lowly Kansas City who were on a 3rd string quarterback and without Larry Johnson. Despite being upset by Miami I think the Bills are still a good team. Buffalo 27 Jets 21.
Houston at Minnesota. This should be an interesting game between a decent Viking team and a slowly improving Houston Texans team. I will go with the home team, Vikings 24 Texans 17.
Green Bay at Tennessee. This may be the game of the day with two good teams. When in doubt go with a home team with a great defense. Titans 17 Packers 10.
Arizona at St. Louis. The Cardinals looked good even in a loss to the Panthers. The Rams are still a bad team, though showing some life. I will take Arizona to win 34 to 21.
Tampa Bay at Kansas City. The Bucs are not a good road team but the Chiefs suck no matter where they play. I will go with Tampa Bay 21 to 14.
Detroit at Chicago. I will be a little surprised if the Lions win a game this season. Bears 31 Lions 14.
Baltimore at Cleveland. This game could be one of those nasty hitting games so common in this division. I am smelling upset as Cleveland will win 17 to 14.
Jacksonville at Cincinnati. With Palmer out, the striped ones can't mount an offense. Jags 21 Bengals 7.
Miami at Denver. This should be an interesting game and I look for the home team to pull it out. Broncos 31 Dolphins 17.
Dallas at the Giants. A key game in the powerful NFC east. Dallas is handicapped with injuries and suspensions. The Giants will want this win badly to keep the Boys down while Romo recovers. Giants 31 Cowboys 27.
Philadelphia at Seattle. The Seahawks are just too banged up and seem to have given up in most games. In the battle of the birds, Eagles 27 Seahawks 10.
Atlanta at Oakland. The Raiders are a hard team to pick, they seem to suck but sometimes play very hard. The Falcons are better than expected but I think the Raiders pull one out at home. Raiders 21 Falcons 17.
New England at Indianapolis features two dominant teams of recent years limping in to do battle. I think Peyton Manning will find a way to win and the Colts will do so. Colts 21 Pats 10.
Pittsburg at Washington. This just may be a great game. The Steelers defense takes a shot at new coach Jim Zorn's West Coast Offense. Jason Campbell will need to step up as the Skins won't run much on the Steelers. I will go with the home team. Redskins 24 Steelers 21
