Rams Head Coached Gets the Boot; Who Will Be Next?
September 29th 2008 18:54
It is official, the Rams have fired Coach Linehan after not only being 0-4 but being rather pathetic getting blown out of the water by every team under the sun. They are even worse off than Cleveland and they've been pretty bad. I can't say this move should be considered a rather huge shock but in reality was expected. After that Super Bowl loss to the Patriots, the Rams haven't quite recovered from that and have been feeling the aftermath.
His firing is going to be the question of who will be joining him as well. Not a day goes by that I don't hear about the never ending speculation of what is the future for the Oakland Raiders. Right now, I think the problem might be the owner that just wants power over the franchise itself. After the Super Bowl appearance, the Raiders have been a team that has been horrendous to say the least.
I also wonder about the Bengals as well. With an 0-4 start, how long before a coaching change happens to this franchise. In the past 20 years, the Bengals haven't been significant at all. Anymore losses and there will be some head coach changing.
I still feel that the Cleveland Browns will get rid of Romeo if the season doesn't improve. Granted, they won yesterday but he's going to be walking on egg shells. I wish he would like he cares out there instead of standing still stone face or bored to death, don't know which. They are 1-3 and will not be playing this week due to the bye. The Giants game is going to be a nightmare for Cleveland besides facing the defending Super Bowl championships but also not showing up in the games they need to win.
I may do picks later in the week as far as certain games go but there won't be any keys to the Cleveland games as there isn't one.
