Bucs and Rams name new head coaches!

The Saint Louis Rams have hired Steve Spagnuolo to be their new head coach, replacing Jim Haslett who replaced Scott Linehan in 2008. Spagnuolo has been the defensive coordinator of the New York Giants and was courted for head coaching jobs by several NFL teams. Jason Garrett the Cowboys offensive coordinator was thought to be favored for the Rams job as he had two interviews for the position.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers also signed a new head coach after firing Jon Gruden in something of a surprise move. Raheem Morris is the new head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was the teams’ defensive coordinator prior to taking over as head coach replacing Gruden. I just hope he noticed how the Bucs treated his former boss. It appears they waited until most coaching positions were filled before firing Gruden, thus keeping him from coaching in the 2009 football season, most likely.
