Rb's in Fantasy Football

June 20th 2008 23:07
Running Backs are losing some of their pop for Fantasy Football Players. The platoon system where 2 running backs share the carries is becoming a fixture in real pro football. Oh course backs like LT, LJ and some others will still get the majority of their team's rushing attempts. But if you draft a back hoping for 20 carries a game and he gets 10 or 12 that can hurt.

Loolk for savy fantasy footballers to concentrate more on quarterbacks and receivers than in years past. If you have the 10th pick in the first round and Manning or Brady are still around, I would think hard of picking one of them, instead of a runningback who may share carries.
