Ben Roethlisberger is being investigated for an alleged sexual assault in Milledgeville, Georgia after an incident at a nightclub. Roethlisberger is already involved in a civil suite with a woman claiming he raped her in Lake Tahoe at an earlier date.
Now of course none of us know if Ben Roethlisberger is a serial rapist ala Dave Meggett, or a guy with a target on his back now due to the first lawsuit. The fact that Profootballtalk.com is reporting that Ben Roethlisberger has hired the same attorney that got Ray Lewis out of a murder charge, shows that criminal charges are likely in this case.
I am not a fan of Ben Roethlisberger because he always came across as an ass to me but I respect his play on the field for the Pittsburgh Steelers. IF he is guilty he needs to go to prison and meet bubba and get a taste of his own medicine.
If he is not guilty then he needs to rethink how he lives his life. Professional athletes are often targeted with sex to get money in one way or another for their partner. If you don’t put yourself in situations that can lead to claims of rape or even just paternity suites then you don’t have to worry about it.
I have no idea if Ben Roethlisberger raped either of those women but a rapist is on a power trip, and pro athletes have the perception that they can get away with anything. I certainly can see where he could have a serious problem. If he has raped a women even knowing he is being sued for the same charge, then he does have a serious issue. Only time will tell if Ben Roethlisberger is guilty of sexual assault in either case.
