Cards and Saints playoff prediction

Breakdown of the 2010 NFL Playoff Game between Arizona and New Orleans
Arizona played dead again this season to then turn it on in the playoffs. They beat Green Bay in a shootout, though with a little help by the ref’s. Arizona has injury issues, most notably with Anquan Boldin. However Boldin is often hurt and Steve Breaston is an excellent replacement. What Arizona has this year is a decent running game with rookie Beanie Wells really stepping up. Adding Wells to the passing attack of Kurt Warner with Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin and Steve Breaston was a good thing.
The problem with the Arizona Cardinals is the same as last year, no defense. The Packers passed the ball all over the field in the 2nd half of the Wildcard Game. The Cardinals need to try to keep Drew Brees and the Saints offense off the field.
New Orleans looked like an elite NFL team in winning their first 13 games until the Cowboys came to town. After that first loss the Saints kind of called it in, but remember they should have lost to the Redskins and won on a fluke.
The Saints are deadly on offense with Drew Brees passing and a committee of fine runners to pound the ball. The perception is that the Saints only pass but they are a very capable running team as well. If you are a Drew Brees fan then check out his page on Mahalo.
Like the Colts, the Saints defense is just good enough to help the team win most games. Darren Sharper found the fountain of youth this season but his old legs may be catching up to him now. The Saints must also try to run the ball and keep the opposing offense off the field.
Prediction for the 2010 NFL Playoff Game between the Saints and Cardinals
Look for an 80 point game when the Cardinals and Saints hook up in New Orleans. I really like home teams in the NFL playoffs usually but I also like Kurt Warner who is money in the bank during the post season. I am going back to teams resting too much and coming out flat. Arizona knocks off the Saints, 45 to 42
