Seymour traded to the Raiders

The New England Patriots have traded defensive tackle Richard Seymour to the Oakland Raiders. Seymour a 29 year old standout on the defensive line for the Patriots was traded for a first round draft pick in the 2011 NFL draft.
Seymour was rumored to be on the trading block as the Patriots try to get younger on defense. I do applaud the Oakland Raiders for trading for Richard Seymour and trying to improve their team. However unless they let Seymour run the team, he won’t help the hapless Raiders.
Al Davis has gone senile and is letting idiots help him run the Oakland Raiders. I was a little shocked that they recently cut Jeff Garcia but who can tell what the Raiders are thinking.
Seymour can’t be happy being traded from New England to Oakland but at least he already has some Super Bowl rings. He won’t be getting one in the silver and black. Look for Seymour to anchor a defense that has some talent but a decided lack of direction in Oakland.
