Steve McNair was not the good guy we thought

Slain Tennessee Titan ex-quarterback Steve McNair may have been a community favorite, an athlete who played through injuries with an uncanny will to win, and even helped load shipments to Hurricane Katrina victims.
To the public, McNair was married with four sons and split his time between his Mississippi farm and a home in Tennessee where he led the Titans to one of the most thrilling Super Bowls on all time against the St. Louis Rams at the close of the 1999 season.
Unfortunately, as facts slowly emerge from the horrific story of his death, a darker side of Steve McNair is surfacing--a side embodying human indiscretions which lead us to see a mere mortal instead of the Superman often portrayed.
Anyone familiar with this story knows McNair was found Saturday with four bullet wounds including two to the head. Found with McNair was 20 year old Saleh Kazemi who also was a victim of a single gun shot wound to the head.
Although a weapon was not readily apparent to investigators when they arrived at the scene, a semi automatic pistol was found under Kazemi's body. Those circumstances alone lead to questions that have not yet been answered.
Hints of problems surfaced as far back as 2003 when McNair, still playing football, was pulled over on suspicion of drunk driving and later saddled with possessing a 9mm pistol. These charges were all dropped.
In 2007 McNair was charged with drunken driving again because he let his brother-in-law drive his pickup truck. Those charges were dropped when DUI charges against the brother-in-law were reduced to reckless driving.
Fast forward to the past Thursday night when McNair could have been charged again after the stop of a 2007 Cadillac Escalade driven by Kazemi and registered to both her and McNair. Kazemi was arrested on a DUI charge, and McNair was allowed to leave in a taxi.
Was this a bizarre murder/suicide? Although this theory hasn't been ruled out by authorities, they are still keeping opinions to themselves as facts are slowly released.
