Time for a Change in Cleveland

November 17th 2008 15:11
Well, even with the Brady Quinn move, the Browns still failed to win. There were two games they should have won but apparently decided they weren't going to show up in the 4th Quarter of those games losing both to the Ravens and Broncos. There is nothing that can save this team this year and may as well throw in the towel. Once again, this Browns team does what has become a tradition and that's fail.

There needs to be a new coach but get someone with experience would be nice. In fact, that would actually be a step in the right direction. One that can lead this team and if needed to bench under-performing players for someone who will actually play.

This is a team that should have been better than what they are showing. I hate to say this but if they don't win games, Quinn is going to look like a bust and it'll be yet going back to Quarterback rotation, which is becoming a theme that continues to happen again and again to this team. The more wins that Quinn can get as a starter, the better he'll look for getting that chance.

Address right now what the plans are for this team so everyone can relax. I do not care who is starting as I am going to continue to state as long as they are winning games.

Get rid of the ones who look like they are quitting. I don't know who it is that is going so but I will say this. Whoever is quitting on this team needs to be cut. There is no room for quitting on this franchise. If they want to make the original Browns and the city of Cleveland feel proud of them, put on a product that can win. Quit going to the injury excuse constantly because that is just sad.

I don't see Romeo lasting longer. Probably at the end of the season, he'll be let go and should be. This team isn't going to win with him as the coach. He just isn't the right fit. If Cowher is the right call for this team, then so be it.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm tired of hearing the old "wait until next year" cliche that has become a theme for Cleveland.

Cowher would be a great fit. So would Jim Haslett if he isn't retained by the Rams. They need somebody they fear will put their butts out of the league for not producing.
