Tony Dungy is getting on my nerves. His latest way to get some publicity was to criticize Jets head coach Rex Ryan for dropping some F-bombs on HBO’s hard knocks. Dungy said such language should be brought up to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to consider punishing Ryan.
Ok I guess Tony Dungy played and coached in the NFL for many years and never heard a swear word. Dungy is getting to be as sickening as Brett Favre with the way the media kisses his ass.
It is ok for Michael Vick to kill dogs and be part of a gambling ring, but an old fat white coach can’t swear. Gee I would hate to say it is racism and it probably isn’t. I used to have a lot of respect for Dungy but his holier than thou bit is getting a bit old.
Dungy was a slightly better than average head coach (a really good defensive mind) who got lucky and was hired to run a team with Peyton Manning at quarterback. Dungy helped build a Super Bowl team in Tampa but Jon Gruden led them over the hump.
Ask Mike Ditka or Bill Cowher if a little cussing bothers them. They have as many Super Bowl Rings as Tony Dungy does.
