Vikings making the Playoffs?

The Vikings will probably win the NFC North
The Vikings have scratched and clawed themselves into the lead in the NFC North Division that many thought would be owned by the Green Bay Packers. Minnesota swept the Chicago Bears this season and even had a 99 yard touchdown pass from journeyman Gus Ferotte to former Bear Bernard Berrian last night against the Bears.


With 4 games left in the 2008 season the Vikings appear to be in the driver’s seat in the NFC North Division. At 7-5 they have a one game advantage (and the tie breaker) over the Bears and two games over the injury plagued Packers.

With their Quarterback woes many of us predicted that the Minnesota Vikings would stink up the joint. But their 4th ranked rushing offense led by Adrian Peterson and Chester Taylor has compensated for their issues as signal caller.

I think the Vikings will win the division and possibly upset somebody in the playoffs. Any team with Adrian Peterson has to worry their opponents to some degree. But until they upgrade the Quarterback position they won’t be a major threat. The defense is good enough to make them dangerous as well.

Check this out...
I think one of the things you have to consider is the fact that the 'Vikes are looking tough at the right time. They have 3 games coming up they SHOULD win but have a final game with the Giants and how they look in that game should determine how far they go in the play offs.
