Vince Young has to learn a new offensive system with the Titans. This is difficult for any quarterback to do, but Young is well young. He was probably just getting used to Chow's sytem.
But now Mike Heimerdinger rejoins the Titans as offensive coordinator a position he held with them before. He had left the team to work with the Jets and Broncos before being rehired. Look for him to favor the running game more which may help by taking pressure off of Vince Young.
But NFL offensive systems are so hard to learn that it will take some time. Often a new offensive cordinator will dummy his system down, even more so for a young quarterback. It could take 2 or 3 seasons to get his full system installed into the offense.
