Week 12 game picks for the 2008 season
November 19th 2008 18:00
Ok welcome to the worst NFL predictions for week 12 of the 2008 Season. There are no point spreads just straight NFL game picks. So if you are looking for just straight NFL game predictions for the 2008 season, week 12, then you are at the right place.
Cincinnati at Pittsburg (Thursday)
The Bengals have been playing a little better recently but they still are not up to the Steelers level. Pittsburg will pound the ball down their throats while Big Ben tries to not get killed. Steelers 21 Bengals 14.
Houston at Cleveland
Cleveland seems to have some players who have given up on this season. Houston will keep fighting and will beat the Browns 17 to 10.
Tampa Bay at Detroit
I really don’t think the Lions will go all of 2008 without winning a game. Tama often struggles on the road and I think the Lions will upset them 24 to 14.
Chicago at St. Louis
The Bears are a good steady football team and my prediction is that they just have to many horses for the hapless Rams. Chicago will beat St. Louis 31 to 17.
New York Jets at Tennessee
The Jets are really playing well these days but the Titans are undefeated. Look for Jets defensive tackle Kris Jenkins to really disrupt the Titans offense. I am just not convinced that the Jets can score on Tennessee. So when in doubt go with the home pick and Tennessee will win 10 to 6.
Philadelphia at Baltimore
The Eagles looked so good to me earlier in the season but I think McNabb has lost the team. His dumb ass didn’t even know a regular season NFL game could end in a tie. Baltimore got spanked by the Giants and will come in with a chip on their shoulder. Ravens 27 Eagles 17.
Minnesota at Jacksonville
The Jaguars seem to just be playing out the string while Minnesota at least appears to be trying to play hard. Vikes 14 Jags 10.
New England at Miami
The Dolphins humiliated the Patriots by beating them with the Wildcat formation earlier in the season. Miami is a decent team but New England will be playing for pride and will win 34 to 17.
Buffalo at Kansas City
The Chiefs are playing hard but they still suck (and this is my favorite team) Buffalo will end their losing streak and win 27 to 17.
San Francisco at Dallas
The Cowboys are trying to bring their season back from beyond the grave. The 49ers will not be an obstacle to that goal. Cowboys 34 49ers 10.
Oakland at Denver
People who love the passing game should watch as the Broncos light up the Raiders 42 to 10.
New York Giants at Arizona
This could be something of a grudge match for Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner. His last team was the Giants before they brought in Eli Manning to replace him. But the Giants are the best team in football and will win 28 to 24.
Carolina at Atlanta
A key battle in the NFC South race as the upstart Falcons try to get back on track. I think Carolina’s run game will be the difference in a 24 to 21 win for the Panthers.
Washington at Seattle
Redskins coach Jim Zorn comes home to Seattle where he played and was an assistant coach. Zorn knows how to beat this defense and the Skins will do that 21 to 14.
Indianapolis at San Diego
At the start of the season I bet this was thought to be a great matchup. And it still could be but the Chargers are not the Chargers of old. And the Colts seem to be going towards being the Colts of old. Indy 31 Chargers 21.
Green Bay at New Orleans (Monday Night)
This should be a high scoring game as Green Bay 4th in points scored comes to New Orleans 5th in points scored. Neither team plays up to their potential from week to week. I just have a feeling it’s the Saints turn to play well. New Orleans will beat Green Bay 34 to 31.
