Week 14 NFL Game Picks

December 3rd 2008 18:54
Welcome to the worst NFL Game Predictions for week 14 of the 2008 season that you will find anywhere. Well ok maybe I am not that bad but I really tanked on my upset of the week pick for week 13. I picked the Bengals to upset the Ravens, duh.

But I am back to try again with week 14 NFL Game Predictions, straight picks with no point spreads. If you are in an office football pool then you have come to the right place. I used to do office football pools (we played for potato chips of course) and I won over 1,000 potato chips in 2 seasons of my office football pool. Of course most of the others making football game predictions were not very good at it.

Feel free to leave comments telling me how smart or dumb I am at the bottom of this article. And I hope you enjoy my game picks for week 14 of the 2008 NFL season.

Oakland at San Diego

The Chargers give one lackluster penalty riddled performance after another in 2008. The Raiders are just a team in disarray. Look for a little (not much) Charger pride to surface as they beat the Raiders 27 to 24.

Jacksonville at Chicago

The coach has lost the team in Jacksonville and they are going through the motions to get this 2008 season over with. Chicago has struggled at times but plays with enough heart to win this game 24 to 17.

Cleveland at Tennessee

The Browns suck and are down to their 3rd String Quarterback, Ken Dorsey. Tennessee will maul them 31 to 3.

Minnesota at Detroit

Time is running out for the Lions to win at least one game in 2008. They won’t do it this week against a very focused Vikings team. Minnesota 28 Detroit 10.

Cincinnati at Indianapolis

The Colts had to actually let their defense win one against Cleveland last week. Don’t expect Manning and the boys to play that badly two weeks in a row. Colts 27 Bengals 17.

Atlanta and New Orleans

The Falcons play everyone tough despite a rookie coach and rookie quarterback. New Orleans are the hardest team to pick in the NFL. One week they look unstoppable the next they suck. The NFC South tends to be a win at home, lose on the road division so I am picking the Saints to win 24 to 21.

Philadelphia at the New York Giants

McNabb’s benching done wonders for him and I think the Eagles may just pull this one out. The Giants will lose one more before the Playoffs start and it is this week. Eagles 24 Giants 21.

Houston at Green Bay

The Packers are injured on the defense and that will make it a fairly close game. But the Packers will beat the Texans 21 to 17.

Miami at Buffalo (actually playing in Canada)

Buffalo got shafted by the NFL out of a home game in December against warm weather Miami. This game will be inside and toasty for the Dolphins. But I think the Bills are mad enough to win 24 to 17.

New England at Seattle

I don’t see the Patriots struggling going to the West Coast, it is West going East that affects players. Seattle just don’t have much this season and the Pats will win 21 to 14.

Kansas City at Denver

Denver got upset by the Chiefs earlier this season and are a “Mile High” after beating the Jets. Denver will win a close one 31 to28.

Jets at San Francisco

The Jets need to win to have any chance of getting some momentum back. The 49ers just don’t have the players to beat them. Jets 28 49ers 17.

Saint Louis at Arizona

Don’t you just know Kurt Warner has been slobbering at the mouth to play his old team? The Cardinals will geld the Goats 45 to 10.

Dallas at Pittsburg

Now we see what Dallas really has after several wins over pushovers. Pacman Jones makes his return to the NFL in this game, just in time to have his ass kicked. Pittsburg will maul that Dallas Defense and win 31 to 24.

Washington at Baltimore

At least the recently fallen back to Earth Redskins won’t have to travel far for this whipping they shall receive. Baltimore will beat them 24 to 7.

Tampa Bay at Carolina on Monday Night

This is a huge NFC South game and a revenge game for the Panthers after getting whipped like housecats earlier this season in Tampa. Look for the Panthers to win a close one 24 to 21.

Good job with the picks, especially with the Eagles over the Giants.

This week, I'm glad I live in Pittsburgh! I think we'll be able to tell a little bit about Dallas!

Yeah if Dallas wins this one then they have to be considered contenders to win the whole show.
