NFL Picks for week 6
October 12th 2008 15:29
Ok I suck at this with a 37 and 20 record in predictions in the 2008 NFL season. But hell I can’t get much worse so here it is for week 6 of the NFL season.
Chicago at Atlanta
Two teams that run hot and cold like my ex girlfriend! Atlanta’s rookie qb plays well at home but Chicago may have too much defense for him. Bears 24 Falcons 14
Miami at Houston
The Dolphins seem to have it together and the Texans do not. But the Dolphins play to the level of their opponents. Mia 21 Houston 17
Baltimore at Indy
Manning is still injured and their offensive line sucks Baltimore 14 Colts 10
Detroit at Minnesota
The Lions have to win sometime don’t they? Maybe but not this week. Vikes 34 Lions 14
Oakland at New Orleans
The Saints are a sloppy team with lots of turnovers but they need a win and should get one. New Orleans 24 Oakland 10
Bengals at the Jets
I think playing so hard against Dallas but losing will hurt the Striped ones. Jets 27 Bengals 10
Carolina at Tampa
Defense wins championships and both teams have good defenses. Tampa wins at home 17 to 14.
Rams at the Redskins
I really want to predict an upset here but I can’t do it. Redskins 21 Rams 14
Jacksonville at Denver
I really like Jacksonville’s defense and running game. Denver has no defense but can light up teams. Hard pick but I am going with Denver 31 to 28
Dallas at Arizona
The Cards look good when Warner has a good game. But if a Cactus passes gas out in the desert Warner fumbles. Dallas wins 28 to 24.
Philly at San Francisco
Interesting duel of Coordinators with Johnson vs Martz. The Eagles need a win badly and will get one 24 to 17.
Green Bay at Seattle
I think the banged up Hawks will squeak one out 21 to 17
New England at San Diego
The Chargers (like all teams under Turner) are underachieving and the Pats are not. Patriots 24 Chargers 17
Giants at the Browns
I thought my sniffer caught a whiff of upset but I can’t quite make myself call it. Giants 21 Browns 17. This game would be ripe for one but the Browns are playing out the string until Romeo goes back to Juliet.

Are the Cheifs playing this week? (one might ask do they play any week!)
Somebody post or PM me with that answer, so I don't have to leave Orble
