NFL week 8 picks

October 26th 2008 12:49
Ok I am now 52 and 31 for the 2008 pro football season with my game picks. So yes I suck and I advise picking the ones I say will lose. But here goes the week 8 game picks for the 2008 NFL season.

Oakland at Baltimore could be a nasty hitting game and probably a close one. Ravens 17 Raiders 10.

Arizona at Carolina. West Coast teams playing at 1 PM on the East Coast have lost every game this season. That will continue as Carolina beats Arizona 27 to 14.

Tampa Bay at Dallas. The Cowboys know they have to win this game to keep jobs for next season. Dallas 31 Tampa 24.

Washington at Detroit. I am tempted to pick upset but I wont. Skins 27 Lions 10.

Buffalo at Miami. I just don’t see the Dolphins being able to score much on that defense. Bills 24 Dolphins 7.

San Diego at New Orleans (if they move NO to England) both teams are in must win situations. Both teams will be tired from the long flight to England. With the steroid scandal coming out of New Orleans plus key injures, the Saints will fall flat. Chargers 17 Saints 10.

Kansas City at the Jets. Herm Edwards comes back to play his old team. Even a overrated Jets team will crush my hapless Chiefs, 34 to 7.

Atlanta at Philadelphia. Rookie Matt Ryan will get an education in blitzes by the Eagle Defense. Philly 27 Atlanta 3.

Cleveland at Jacksonville. I just don’t see the Jags falling to a bad Browns team. Jacksonville wins 31 to 10.

Cincinnati at Houston. The improving Texans win 21 to 7.

New York Giants at Pittsburg. Some idiots are calling this a Super Bowl preview. They have not seen the Steelers Offensive Line. The Giants will get at least 5 sacks and beat the Steelers 24 to 17.

Seattle at San Francisco. The debut game of new 49ers coach Mike Singletary. I think the 49ers will beat a very banged up Seahawks team, 21 to 14.

Colts at the Titans which should be a very good game. Tennessee is the only undefeated team left in 2008. Peyton Manning returns to his college state with a team that is struggling. The Colts can’t run and the Titans can’t pass. Going out on a limb and saying the Colts upset the Titans 27 to 10.
