Week 8 Fantasy Football tips from Footballdogz.com
The teams on bye this week are the Bears, Broncos, Packers and Vikings. So of course don’t start anyone from those teams.
First and always play anybody that you can that are going against the following teams. Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs.
Jump all over Brett Favre and any of his wide receivers and Thomas Jones will probably run for 150 yards and 3 scores.
Garcia and Ike Hilliard are good starts against a terrible Dallas defense. I even picked up Jeremy Stevens for my tight end this week due to the matchup. I automatically start any offensive player against Dallas.
I would hesitate to start Kurt Warner if there is another option. You almost have to go with Larry Fitzgerald though since he is probably your best receiver. The Cardinals are playing a tough defense in Carolina. Plus west coast teams playing the 1 pm game on the east coast, have lost every game this season.
I would avoid any Steelers offensive players against the Giants unless my other options were bad. The Giants will dominate the Steelers offensive line today.
I would start Clinton Portis despite injuries today against the Lions.
I would jump all over any Texan offensive players this week, I smell a blowout of the hapless Bengals, and Texas is playing better of late.
I would avoid any Falcons other than possibly Michael Turner against an Eagle defense that will school Matt Ryan in the art of the blitz.
